This rose is named after Crown Princess Margareta who was married to the Swedish Crownprince Gustaf Adolf (later King Gustaf VI Adolf). She was the grandchild of Queen Victoria and the paternal grandmother of our current King, Carl XVI Gustaf.
The rose bears quite large, apricot-orange flowers, in the form of neatly arranged, many petalled rosettes. They have a strong, fruity fragrance. It forms a tall, slightly arching shrub with plentiful glossy foliage.
